Singapore to Invest S$220 Million in Fintech Innovation
Singapore will invest S$220 million (US$173 million) over three years to enhance its fintech sector. This initiative includes co-funding at least 1,000 internships to develop talent in artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. The announcement was made by Gan Kim Yong, and the funds are part of the latest iteration of the Financial Sector Technology and Innovation (FSTI) scheme.
