IPS Officer Shefeen Ahmed Dies of Cancer; Tributes Pour In
Shefeen Ahmed, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from the Odisha cadre who was originally from Kerala, has died from cancer. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor were among those who offered condolences. The New Indian Express reported Ahmed was a Kerala-born IPS officer of the Odisha cadre who passed away due to cancer.
