Trinamool Congress office ransacked in Kolkata; MP alleges BJP involvement
Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee's office in Kolkata was ransacked early Tuesday morning by three to four masked individuals. The intruders reportedly removed televisions and other equipment. Banerjee alleged that BJP workers were responsible for the attack, calling it 'political thuggery' and 'BJP hooligans'. Mathrubhumi English reported that phones were smashed and staff assaulted. Outlook India reported that police detained six individuals in connection with the incident. Banerjee also criticized the police's handling of the situation.
