Emerald Murugan Idol Stolen from Tamil Nadu Temple
An emerald idol of Lord Murugan was stolen from the Sri Maragadha Bala Dhandayuthapani Murugan Temple in Perukaranai village, near Madurantakam in Tamil Nadu's Chengalpattu district. The theft occurred in the early hours of Wednesday when unidentified individuals broke into the temple's sanctum sanctorum. The idol is reportedly worth crores of rupees.
