Hong Kong Actor Lau Siu-ming Dies at 94
Veteran Hong Kong actor and dance pioneer Lau Siu-ming has died at the age of 94. Lau, known affectionately as Ming Sir, passed away on Wednesday evening. Hong Kong's culture chief paid tribute to his outstanding artistic achievements and contributions to the cultural sector. Born in 1931, Lau was among the first Hong Kong dancers to train formally in Europe and integrated his experiences and Chinese heritage into his work.
