IndiGo Flight Diverted to Muscat Due to Pilot Illness
An IndiGo flight, 6E 1302, traveling from Doha to Bengaluru was diverted to Muscat, Oman, on Thursday after a pilot fell ill mid-flight. The flight departed Doha at 2:19 a.m. and landed in Muscat at 5:30 a.m. local time. A Mayday emergency was declared, leading to the unscheduled stop. Upon landing, the ill crew member was attended to by a medical team and is reportedly recovering well. IndiGo has dispatched an alternative aircraft and crew to assist the passengers with their onward journey, providing them with refreshments and updates.
