Supreme Court rejects plea against curbs on school entry and filming
The Supreme Court has declined to entertain a petition challenging restrictions on the entry of journalists and activists into government schools in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, and on filming within these premises. The petition was filed in response to the 'School Thik Karo' campaign, launched by the organisation CJP, which aims to audit and improve infrastructure in rural government schools. The court stated it was not inclined to consider the writ petition filed under Article 32 of the Constitution.
