Cow Slaughter Accused Shot in Leg During Police Encounter
Police apprehended an accused wanted in a cow slaughter case in an encounter in Bareilly, during which he sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. The accused, identified as Chhota alias Rashid, was taken to the hospital for treatment. Authorities recovered an illegal firearm and other items from his possession. The case was registered under the Cow Slaughter Prevention Act.
