Delhi HC seeks police response on ex-AAP councillor's appeal in murder case
The Delhi High Court has asked the Delhi Police to respond to an appeal filed by former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor Tahir Hussain. Hussain is challenging his life sentence in the murder case of Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ankit Sharma. His appeal contends that the investigation was biased and that witness testimonies were wrongful. The trial court had previously found Hussain guilty in the case.
