Two women journalists allege assault at Delhi police station; police deny
Two women journalists and YouTubers have alleged that they were detained and assaulted by Delhi Police personnel at the Saket police station. The journalists claim they were taken to a room and beaten after attempting to question Chief Minister Rekha Gupta at an event in South Delhi. They also allege they were manhandled by a pregnant officer during the incident. Police have denied the allegations, stating they are factually incorrect and that the journalists obstructed a security route. The women were taken to the station but released shortly after. Journalists' bodies have condemned the alleged assault.
