India and Belgium Sign Defence and Trade Agreements
Indian and Belgian officials signed a series of agreements covering defence equipment such as rockets, drones, tank turrets, mine‑warfare systems and ammunition. The agreements were announced during a visit by Belgian officials, including the Belgian Defence Minister and Prime Minister De Wever. The deals also include cooperation on trade, technology, talent exchange and critical minerals. Belgium’s Defence Minister said India is a stabilising factor and a useful counterweight to China’s dominance in Asia. India’s Ministry of External Affairs said the partnership will focus on the “3Ts” - trade, technology and talent. The agreements aim to deepen industrial and military ties between the two countries.
