West Nile Virus Cases Reported in Ontario, Illinois, and Greece
West Nile virus has been confirmed in multiple locations. In northeastern Ontario, Canada, the virus was detected in a horse and two crows. In Aurora, Illinois, two residents have been confirmed to have the virus, according to the Kane County Health Department. Meanwhile, Greece has reported 290 cases of West Nile virus, resulting in 24 deaths, with pressure on hospitals remaining high. Cyprus has recorded four confirmed cases and two more under investigation.
