Adobe Appoints Anil Chakravarthy as New CEO, Shantanu Narayen Transitions
Adobe has appointed Anil Chakravarthy as its new president and CEO, succeeding Shantanu Narayen, who will transition to the role of executive chair. Chakravarthy, who joined Adobe in January 2020 as executive vice president, previously served as CEO of Informatica for four years. Narayen has been CEO for over 18 years. Chakravarthy will assume his new role on December 1, 2026. The leadership change occurs as Adobe faces increasing competition and disruption from artificial intelligence.
