ISRO Chief Updates on Gaganyaan Mission and Future Launches
ISRO Chairman S. Somanath stated that work on the uncrewed Gaganyaan mission is progressing well and is on track for launch this year. He also indicated that ISRO is targeting six more launches within the current financial year. This announcement follows the successful launch of the EOS-05 satellite by the GSLV-F17 rocket, which placed the Earth observation satellite into its intended orbit. Narayanan also commented on the role of the private sector, suggesting that ISRO alone cannot meet the nation's needs.
