NHAI offers Rs 1,000 FASTag reward for reporting dirty highway toilets
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced a “Clean Toilet Picture Challenge” scheme. Under the scheme, commuters who submit a photograph of a dirty public toilet on a highway or expressway can receive a Rs 1,000 recharge on their FASTag. Participants must upload the photo through the Rajmarg Yatra mobile application and comply with the conditions specified by NHAI. The reward applies only to toilets that are under NHAI’s jurisdiction. NHAI said the initiative aims to improve cleanliness of highway rest‑room facilities. No other government agency or private entity is involved in providing the reward.
