Jio Plans Major IPO Amidst Festival Season

Jio Platforms, owned by Reliance Industries, is preparing to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO) potentially between late October and early November, coinciding with the Navratri and Diwali festival period. The company aims to raise approximately ₹37,800 crore (around $4 billion) through this offering. If launched, it could become India's largest IPO, potentially surpassing the proposed IPO of NSE. The funds raised are intended for prepaying Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) loans.
