Two workers rescued from Nepal tunnel after 10 days trapped
Two workers were rescued alive from the Trishuli 3A hydropower tunnel in Nepal after being trapped for more than nine days following catastrophic floods. Rescuers heard voices from inside the tunnel before pulling the men out. Search operations are ongoing for others believed to be trapped in the tunnels, which were inundated by floods and landslides. The disaster has resulted in at least 1,200 deaths and over 5,000 missing in China and Nepal, with rescuers calling the survival of the two workers a 'miracle'.
