Nick Kyrgios Accepts One-Month Ban After Positive Cocaine Test
Tennis player Nick Kyrgios has accepted a one-month ban from the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) following a positive cocaine test in Spain. The ban, which is effective immediately, means Kyrgios will forfeit prize money and ranking points from the ATP Tour event in Mallorca where the test occurred. He has also entered a treatment program. While initially handed a ban, the ITIA has reduced it to one month, allowing Kyrgios to return to competition.
