US ends Tesla FSD probe; France tests system
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has closed its investigation into Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system, which covered approximately 2.9 million vehicles. The probe was initiated last year following over 50 reports of traffic safety violations and a series of crashes linked to the system. Meanwhile, France conducted tests of Tesla's self-driving technology after previously deeming it too risky. This followed a "constructive exchange" between Elon Musk and French transport minister Philippe Tabarot, who described the tests as "a new step" in authorizing such vehicles.
