UP CM Yogi Adityanath vows development for Mathura on Janmashtami
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Mathura on the occasion of Janmashtami, offering prayers at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple. He pledged to develop the Braj region in line with the sentiments of its residents, drawing parallels with the development of Ayodhya and Kashi. Adityanath also criticized those who believe in figures like Babar and Aurangzeb, stating that those who oppose faith have been destroyed. He asserted that his government protects virtuous powers while crushing anti-national and anti-social elements. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav promised development for Mathura if his party comes to power, contingent on local consent.
