India aims to ease business regulations and boost aviation finance

The Indian government is undertaking a significant overhaul of its corporate compliance rules to enhance the ease of doing business. This initiative includes expediting the processes for starting and closing companies, simplifying regulations, and reducing the compliance burden specifically for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Consultations are also underway to explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation for faster filings and scrutiny. In parallel, the government is exploring measures to address aircraft shortages by facilitating more bank credit for leasing and streamlining the No Objection Certificate (NOC) process within the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA).
