Supreme Court seeks NIA's response on MBBS student's degree plea
The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) regarding a plea filed by MBBS student Puja Kumari. Kumari is seeking her course completion and degree certificates without being required to re-pay her fees. The ₹1.13 crore in course fees was allegedly seized by the NIA, which claims the funds are linked to extorted money associated with CPI (Maoist). The court will hear the matter further.
