Vande Bharat Express trial and new service extensions announced
A Vande Bharat Express trial between Yesvantpur (Bengaluru) and Mangaluru Central is scheduled for 5 September. The trial’s one‑way run time is projected at 8 hours 20 minutes, with the return journey expected to be completed in 8 hours. Indian Railways also announced that the Vande Bharat Express will make a scheduled halt at Anantnag railway station in Jammu and Kashmir by the end of September.
