Allahabad High Court Orders Inquiry into Judge and Records His Recusal in Contempt Case
The Allahabad High Court ordered an inquiry against Justice Pramod Kumar Srivastava for granting bail to a husband in a dowry-related matter, alleging the judge ignored dowry allegations. The court also recorded Justice Srivastava's self-recusal from a criminal contempt petition involving a senior IAS officer. The recusal was entered on the judge's own initiative.
