President Murmu, RBI Deputy Governor Advise NBFCs on Funding and Asset Quality
President Droupadi Murmu has urged Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and Housing Finance Companies (HFCs) to diversify their funding sources. Concurrently, Reserve Bank of India Deputy Governor Swaminathan Janakiraman advised these entities to prioritize asset quality amidst loan growth. The advice was given during separate engagements, with Murmu speaking to NBFCs and HFCs and Janakiraman addressing the sector on loan growth concerns.
