FSSAI Halts Production at Wai Wai Rajasthan Unit Over Hygiene Violations
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has ordered CG Foods India Pvt Ltd to stop production of 'Veg Bhujia Namkeen' at its Rajasthan facility. An inspection by the regulator revealed multiple food safety and hygiene violations. Specifically, the FSSAI found that broken noodles collected from the floor were being used to manufacture the bhujia snacks. The crackdown targets the company owned by Nepal's 'Noodle King' and focuses on two Wai Wai-branded products.
