NCPCR Rescues Over 3,800 Children in Nationwide Child Labour Campaign
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) rescued over 3,800 children from child labour and trafficking during a special "Pan-India Rescue and Rehabilitation" campaign. The operation took place over a period of nearly three months. As a result of the crackdown, more than 575 First Information Reports (FIRs) have been registered. Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of rescues among all states involved in the campaign.
