US Considers Venezuela Oil for Emergency Reserve
The United States is reportedly considering the use of Venezuela's substantial oil reserves to potentially refill its Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). Venezuela possesses an estimated 65 billion barrels of oil, though its heavy crude is not an ideal match for the SPR's typical requirements. Despite this, the reserves could still play a role in replenishing the SPR.
