Two Hydro Workers Rescued After Nine Days Trapped in Nepal Tunnel
Two Indian hydro-electric project workers, trapped for nine days in a tunnel in Nepal following severe floods, have been successfully rescued. The workers, Sanjay Sah and Kabir Maharjan, were stuck in a tunnel for the Trishuli 3A hydro project. During their ordeal, they reportedly chanted the 'Hare Krishna' mantra. Maharjan required further medical treatment due to health complications and was airlifted to Nepal Army Hospital in Kathmandu for advanced care.
