Supreme Court Justice expresses concern over police action on protesters
Justice Ujjal Bhuyan of the Supreme Court has expressed concern over the police action against protesters at Jantar Mantar, noting that police "detachment is disappearing" and their "restraint seems to be ending." The comments were made in relation to an incident where students protesting at Jantar Mantar were reportedly lathi-charged by the police. The CJP (Citizens for Justice and Peace) organization also commented on the Delhi Police's actions during the protest.
