Woman Kills Sister-in-Law Over Raksha Bandhan Remark in Indore
In Indore, a dispute on Raksha Bandhan escalated into murder when a woman allegedly stabbed her sister-in-law to death. The incident occurred after the victim reportedly made a comment about the accused not being able to tie a rakhi on her brother. The accused, identified as Parvati Bai Kushwaha, allegedly attacked her sister-in-law, Vandana, with a knife, causing a fatal neck injury. The victim was 22 years old. Following the alleged murder, the accused reportedly disposed of the body in a water tank or pond. Police arrested the accused within hours, reportedly with the help of CCTV footage.
