Former wrestler, two children die after falling from fort; dowry charges filed
Former national wrestler Ashwini Pol and her two children died after falling from the Naldurg fort in Maharashtra's Dharashiv district. Police registered a case against her husband and three other family members for abetment to suicide and dowry harassment, following a complaint by her father. One of her daughters survived the incident and is receiving medical care. The complaint alleges Ashwini faced mental torture and pressure related to dowry.
