Kashmiri Pandits hold Janmashtami celebrations in Srinagar and Kupwara
Kashmiri Pandits marked the Hindu festival of Janmashtami with public celebrations in two locations in the Kashmir valley. In the town of Kupwara, a large procession was organized, featuring participants marching through the streets. The Kupwara procession was reported as the first Janmashtami parade in the area in several decades.
