Kalyani Strategic Systems signs defence agreements with Thales and FN Herstal
Kalyani Strategic Systems (KSS), a subsidiary of Bharat Forge, signed defence agreements with French defence firms Thales and FN Herstal. The agreements were announced as part of India’s Make in India programme. One of the deals involves setting up a manufacturing line for 70‑mm rockets in India. The pacts aim to enhance domestic defence production and technology transfer. Thales and FN Herstal claimed the collaboration will strengthen India’s defence capabilities.
