Bengaluru woman abducted, assaulted over unpaid loan; arrests made
A woman and her young son were taken from their home in Bengaluru after a dispute over an unpaid loan of about Rs 1.5 lakh. The victims were held captive for two days, beaten, stripped of clothing and threatened that a compromising video would be circulated. Police rescued them after the family alerted authorities. Four individuals were accused; media reports differ on whether three or four were arrested. The woman has alleged the assault, stripping and video threat, while police have confirmed the arrests.
