Foundation Stone Laid for Uttam Kumar Film Centre
The foundation stone for the Uttam Kumar Film Centre was laid by Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly. The event, which marked the centenary of legendary actor Uttam Kumar, was attended by actors Ranjit Mallick, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupta, film director Harnath Chakraborty, and BJP MLAs Rupa Ganguly and Rudranil Ghosh, along with veteran actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty. The film centre is named after Uttam Kumar.
