Officer Cadets Commissioned at Training Academies in Chennai and Gaya
Officer cadets were commissioned into the Indian Army at ceremonies held at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai and OTA Gaya. The Chennai event, described as a Pipping Ceremony, marked the official commissioning of newly trained gentleman and lady cadets after months of training. The Gaya ceremony saw 253 Officer Cadets commissioned as part of the fourth Passing Out Parade for the Short Service Commission (Technical Entry) course for men and women.
