UP Flood Alert System Credited with Saving Lives During Floods
Uttar Pradesh's flood alert system sent 591 crore alert messages, which authorities claim saved lakhs of lives during recent floods. The system reportedly provided immediate assistance to 3.52 lakh flood victims. No loss of life was reported in the state due to the floods, according to reports.
