NIA Court Convicts 10 in 2013 Jhiram Valley Naxal Attack Case
A National Investigation Agency (NIA) special court has convicted all 10 accused in the 2013 Jhiram Valley Naxal attack case. The court pronounced the verdict on the charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Sentencing for the convicted individuals is scheduled to be announced on September 16. The attack, which occurred 13 years ago, resulted in a significant loss of life and was investigated by the NIA.
