Madhya Pradesh child deaths investigated for multiple causes
At least six tribal children died in Madhya Pradesh's Balaghat district between June and August. Investigations are examining a combination of factors including measles, malaria, respiratory illness, malnutrition, anemia, dehydration, and delayed medical access. Officials have stated that the deaths cannot be attributed to a single pathogen at this time. A total of 431 children received treatment, with many having since recovered.
