Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Badal detained during protest in Chandigarh
Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal led a protest by thousands of women from the Istri Akali Dal towards the Punjab Chief Minister's residence in Chandigarh. The protesters demanded the Chief Minister's resignation and the registration of a criminal case against his wife, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann. Badal was detained during the protest.
