Dinesh Sharma Appointed Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Dinesh Sharma, a BJP MP and former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The appointment was formalized with a notification issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan. Sharma previously served as the Mayor of Lucknow and is a professor by profession.
