UN, Iran, Oman address Strait of Hormuz navigation and stranded seafarers

A UN agency is developing an evacuation plan for approximately 11,000 stranded seafarers in the Gulf. Concurrently, Iran has stated the Strait of Hormuz cannot return to its pre-war state but has agreed to a 'telephone hotline' for waterway management. Following a US-Iran agreement, 11 India-bound ships have successfully transited the Strait, with normalcy gradually returning, though 10 vessels remain in the Gulf. Oman and Iran are also discussing managing navigation in the Strait, with Iran and Oman considering maritime service fees.
