NEET UG Counselling Sees High Seat Fill Rate in Maharashtra, Seats Added to Round 2
In Maharashtra's NEET UG counselling for MBBS and BDS seats under the state quota, 75.15% of the 10,646 available seats have been filled in the first round. A significant difference was observed in the seat filling rates between MBBS and BDS programs. Meanwhile, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has added 30 MBBS seats to the Round 2 seat matrix for NEET UG Counselling 2026. These new seats are located at Bagalkote Medical College (15 seats), Government Medical College Chapra (7 seats), and Shri Ram Janki Medical College, Samastipur (8 seats).
