Kashmir Hosts First International Film Festival in Srinagar
Srinagar hosted its first international film festival, featuring 135 films from over 40 countries. The event aims to provide a platform for young filmmakers in Jammu and Kashmir to share their stories and connect with international talent. Actors Fatima Sana Shaikh and Taha Shah were present, with Shaikh stating the festival could give J&K youth a voice. The festival was inaugurated by the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary. The event also seeks to revive Bollywood ties with the region.
