International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir Inaugurated

The first International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir (IFFJK) has been inaugurated in Srinagar. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah declared the festival open, describing Kashmir as a creative sanctuary and a safe destination eager to welcome filmmakers. Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, present at the event, referred to the location as a 'homecoming'. The festival aims to foster a new chapter in the relationship between Jammu & Kashmir and the film industry.
