Voter rolls shrink in Northeast India after Special Summary Revision

Voter rolls in Manipur, Sikkim, and Mizoram have seen a reduction following the Special Summary Revision (SSR) process. Sikkim's voter roll decreased by 11.2%, while Mizoram's final roll increased to 8.36 lakh voters. Across the three states, a total of 2.24 lakh deletions were recorded during the revision.
