Defence Acquisition Council Clears Rs 1.1 Lakh Crore Procurement Proposals
The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) has approved defence procurement proposals valued at approximately Rs 1.10 lakh crore. A significant portion, nearly 98%, of these purchases are designated for Indian companies. This decision is expected to draw attention to defence sector stocks, including Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), and others like Paras Defence, BEML, and Astra Microwave.
