GE Vernova T&D India Lowest Bidder for 6,000 MW Power Grid Project

GE Vernova T&D India has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1 bidder) for a 6,000 MW High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) project awarded by Power Grid Corporation of India. Following this announcement, GE Vernova T&D India's shares surged by 8% on the stock exchange. Analysts at Nomura raised the company's target price to Rs 6,000, while Emkay retained a Buy rating with a target price of Rs 5,300, citing strong prospects in the transmission sector. The company's shares have seen a year-to-date increase of 46%.
