Scientist Karim Maredia to Receive Borlaug CAST Communication Award
Agricultural scientist Karim Maredia, who was born in Gujarat, has been named for the Borlaug CAST Communication Award. The award is given in honor of Norman Borlaug, the Nobel laureate credited with pioneering the Green Revolution. The award is presented by the Iowa-based Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST). Maredia is an Indian-American scientist.
